ESOL program

The WCC English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is an excellent choice for ESOL learners for a number of reasons. ESOL students have the opportunity to attend classes with people from around the world, as WCC hosts international students from more than 25 different countries each year.

University transfer

An Associate in Arts & Sciences degree completed at WCC allows students to transfer to a four-year university to complete their bachelor's degree. In this program, a student can work on their General University Requirements (GUR's) while completing the prerequisite classes necessary for their major at a university. WCC offers individualized transfer advising to prepare for a specific major at a U.S. 4-year institution.

International High School Completion program

The International High School Completion (IHSC) program allows international students who are motivated and mature to enroll at Whatcom Community College and earn both a Washington State high school diploma and associate's (university transfer) at the same time. IHSC program students save time and money by completing two programs at once.
