For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, WCC Counseling Services and WCC Student Life have organized a panel of speakers to discuss sexual violence and support for survivors.This event will examine what happens after reporting sexual assault on campus or in the community.
The event is open to all WCC students, faculty, and staff. An interpreter will be present at the event and light refreshments will be served.
Panelists will be answering questions from the audience.
Our panelists include:
- DVSAS (Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services)
- The Lummi Victims of Crime
- Bellingham Police Department
- Whatcom County Sheriff’s Department
- PeaceHealth SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) forensic nurse
- WCC Director for Community Standards & Residence Life to address Title IX

4:00 – 5:00 p.m.: Panel Discussion
