Associated Students of Whatcom Community College (ASWCC) Clubs provide an excellent atmosphere of leadership opportunities, new friends, and fun! There is no formal process to join an ASWCC Club, just attend a meeting and you are a member!

 ASWCC InterClub Council

During the 2023-24 academic year, the ASWCC Clubs will host the InterClub Council Meetings once a month.  We encourage members from all clubs to join us, whether your club is chartered or still in the chartering process. Clubs that have been officially chartered are required to have one voting member present. Decide ahead of time who this individual will be!

Start an ASWCC Club

The process of starting an ASWCC Club is called "chartering" a club. The mission of ASWCC Clubs is to bring students together to build connections and a sense of belonging around similar interests. This means you could apply to charter an ASWCC Club for anything that meets this mission—whether it is an academic interest (Engineering Club, French Club, Literature Club) a shared hobby (Hiking Club, Anime Club, Gaming Club) or just about anything you can think of! Learn more about chartering an ASWCC Club.

Note: the chartering process is open the first 7 weeks of each quarter. However, it's never too late to get chartered for the following quarter and start next quarter off with a strong plan for meeting new friends and building community! If you'd like to schedule a club training to get your club chartered.
