This Talkin' Stories event will highlight the struggles that neurodivergent students experience on our campus and in other learning environments more broadly. We will also specifically consider challenges that are unique to neurodivergent students of color. Our goal is to reflect on how we can better support students and dismantle some often misunderstood ideas about neurodivergent individuals.
The Simpson Intercultural Center's Talkin’ Stories events are student led, informal, open-forum discussions regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion related issues in our community. They are a great opportunity to hear from current WCC students regarding issues that are important to them.
