How to enter

You can enter the paralegal studies associate degree or certificate pathway at the start of any quarter. Simply apply to Whatcom Community College.

Please note: 

• There are two courses that are pre- or co-requisites for all the other PLS courses: PLS 127 and BTEC 121. It can be very helpful to take one or both of them ahead of time.
• PLS 111, an important introductory course, is offered only in the fall. We encourage you to start in the summer or fall if possible.
